Our Sustainable Investment Team has been structured to enable Aberdeen to make investment-critical decisions with a comprehensive top-down and bottom-up view of sustainability.
Our global efforts are led by our Chief Sustainable Investment Officer, Dan Grandage, who heads up Aberdeen's Sustainable Investment Team.
The Sustainable Investment Team has representation across the UK, APAC and the Americas and is integrated across Aberdeen's investments business. The team focuses on four key pillars: delivering insight, implementing investment frameworks & standards, active ownership, and addressing client & commercial needs. They are the subject matter experts that derive insight across sustainability trends and work closely with the on-desk sustainable investing expertise, who are responsible for integrating sustainability within their asset class.
The Sustainable Investment team is responsible for setting the standards for our: sustainable fund range, voting policy, engagement policy and engagement activities, as well as working closely with Aberdeen's Corporate Sustainability team.
