Robert Gilhooly

Senior Emerging Markets Economist

Bob is a senior economist who can often be found pondering the geopolitical risks that have become an essential part of an economist’s workflow.

As an emerging-markets specialist, he is particularly focused on how developments in China ripple across the global economy. More generally, he likes to gauge investment opportunities in opaque economies and situations.

Outside of work he operates an unpaid taxi service for his children.
