Ruairi Revell is Head of Sustainability for Economic Infrastructure at Aberdeen Investments. 

He began his career in environmental assessment, compliance and sustainability strategy for infrastructure companies. He learned early on that good intentions only matter when they translate into real decisions. That practical grounding still shapes his view of sustainable finance. 

His work focuses on the transmission channels between sustainability factors and asset value: policy, regulation, resilience, costs, revenues and long-term relevance.

He’s less interested in slogans and more interested in the point where physical infrastructure, commercial reality and sustainability meet.
