Iain elaborated on the trust's genuine multi-cap, style-agnostic approach, explaining how companies in the portfolio are selected based on criteria for income and quality. The portfolio's top ten equity holdings feature prominent names such as AstraZeneca, Shell, and Morgan Sindall. Additionally, the trust maintains a 4% exposure to overseas equities, providing opportunities to invest in high-yielding companies beyond the UK market.

In terms of performance, income has seen a modest increase over the year. The overarching goal is to continue growing income steadily, ensuring stable dividend growth over time.
